About Paragon

Paragon Senior Secondary School of Science, Arts & Commerce, Badarpur is a path-breaking initiative in the domain of Higher / Senior Secondary Education in the valley and the adjoining regions. The college was established in the year 2014 as the brainchild of a group of eminent educationists.

Supported by residents of the Badarpur area, who realised the vacuum of a good institution for HS education, the initiative addressed the major problems faced by students and guardians while attempting to secure an HS education of a quality good enough to ensure an edge in the highly competitive environment of the 21st century world.

The College is administered by Paragon NGO, a charitable non-profit organisation committed to educational, social, cultural and environmental causes.

Right from the planning stage, the prime focus group for the college has been students coming from rural or semi-urban areas, with little or no exposure to good quality education and with limited resources. That focus continues to guide Paragon — and despite attracting students effortlessly from elite institutions of the adjoining area, the college remains dedicated to the cause of those for whom it is meant.
